Year 6 recently had the exciting opportunity to watch During the War, an educational theatre production that explored what life was like for families living in Britain during World War II. Through drama, humour and1940s music, children gained a deeper understanding of key events and themes such as the Blitz, blackouts, rationing and evacuation.

The performance linked directly to our History curriculum, helping children to appreciate the challenges faced by people during the war and offering valuable insights into everyday life in 1940s Britain. This immersive experience sparked curiosity and further developed their understanding of this important period in history. The children thoroughly enjoyed the performance and were fully engaged throughout, making it a memorable and enriching learning experience.
