A day at the beach in Hunstanton, Norfolk for Year 3

On Monday 8th July, the Year 3 children went to the beach for the day. They travelled to Hunstanton, in Norfolk, to a lovely beach area. For some children, it was their first time on a beach.

Everyone who went had a wonderful time. Some children brought along sand toys and shared them with their friends. Some children built amazing sandcastles with turrets and moats. Many children went into the sea and paddled and splashed around. The children were intrigued by all the different types of shells on the beach and learnt a lot about the different shellfish that inhabited these shells. They also learnt about jelly fish and saw a crab too.

There were lots of smiles, laughter and fun throughout the day.

Year 3 enjoyed their time at the beach, building sandcastles, exploring the beach and paddling in the sea.
