Last week the choir visited De Montfort Hall for the Singtastic! Concert. It was a joyful celebration of music bringing together schools from across the county. The children also had the chance to meet new friends from Overdale School, playing games together as they waited to perform. A memorable moment came in the concert where everyone danced along to the steel pan performance, playing songs such as ‘Stargazing’ by Miles Smith and ‘As It Was’ by Harry Styles, it was a moment of celebration.

When they came to perform, the children stepped onto the stage with a sense of pride, performing with a confidence. It was clear they were truly enjoying every moment of the experience. A highlight of the evening was singing ‘Hot, Hot, Hot’, ‘Surfin’ USA’, and ‘Walking on Sunshine’ — three upbeat favourites that had the whole audience smiling along. Overall, the Singtastic! concert was a wonderful experience — a blend of music, friendship, and enjoyment. Thank you to the parents who supported the event and helped the children learn the songs at home.
