Seven Trent water is a company that provides clean and safe water to millions of homes and businesses across the Midlands.

During the assembly, Ms Town (Seven Trent Water representative) shared many important messages, including:

· How they take sewage water (dirty water) and treat it so that the water can safely be returned to nature.

· Explained Seven Trent Water works hard to protect the environment, save water and help communities learn about the importance of water.

· Showed different ways of using water wisely and not wasting it as in this way we can all help take care of our planet.

· Explained the different stages of the water cycle.

She also shared some interesting facts:

Taking a shower for 4 minutes in comparison to 10 minutes saves a lot of water.

Filling the bath tub half way is better for the environment in comparison to filling in the whole bathtub.

Turning the tap off whilst brushing teeth can save litres of water every day.
