Paying our respects

Well done to our year 6 children, who took part in the 2-minute silence at the Arch of Remembrance. The children placed wreaths made by other children in the school, and some were brave enough to read out their poems created in English lessons last week.

A special dance and poetry performance to mark Remembrance Day

Maple Class pupils in Year 5 created and performed a special dance routine as their way of marking Remembrance Day. This was accompanied by a beautiful reading of the poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ by John McCrae, performed by Year 5 pupil Iftikhar.
