Year 6 Commemorates Remembrance Day at Victoria Park
On Tuesday, our Year 6 pupils visited the Remembrance Arch in Victoria Park to mark Remembrance Day. As part of this special occasion, we laid beautiful wreaths created by every child in the school, a heartfelt tribute to those who served and sacrificed.#
The ceremony included observing the two-minute silence, which was emotionally accompanied by the sound of a bugle played by a member of the public. Our children stood with great respect throughout, reflecting on the significance of the day.
We are incredibly proud of how Year 6 represented Uplands with dignity and pride. Their thoughtful participation demonstrated the values we hold dear as a school community.
