Open classroom – Reading in action

On Friday, we were delighted to welcome parents into our school to experience how we learn to read in the classroom. It was wonderful to see so many of you joining your children, sitting together, and sharing stories. Your involvement made the afternoon truly special!

Reading every day, both at school and at home, is so important for children’s development. It helps build vocabulary, understanding, and a lifelong love of books. When children read regularly with their families, it supports their learning and confidence in so many ways.

Thank you to all the parents who came in and supported both the school and your children. Your partnership makes a real difference, and we look forward to welcoming you again soon!
