Year 3 enjoy the Maths Roadshow

This Thursday, our Year 3 pupils took part in an exciting Maths Roadshow filled with engaging, hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and develop critical thinking skills. The event offered a fantastic range of challenges that encouraged teamwork, problem-solving and creativity.

Children explored activities such as sorting animals into fields while ensuring each group had the same number of legs, creating squares on pegboards using elastic bands, and tackling number bond puzzles. They also experimented with mirrors to draw and discover reflected shapes and constructed cubes from irregular shapes.

The children really immersed themselves in these interactive tasks. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow while having so much fun with maths!
