The new Year 3 cohort have already started their summer term DT project ‘Can we eat what we grow?’. Our plum trees were bursting with fruit, so the children picked some of the plums, ate one each, then turned the rest into a delicious plum crumble. They chopped and de-stoned the plums, made the crumble mix and then ate it, once it had been cooked by Mrs Spencer, the school cook.
