They were given the chance to listen to some inspirational and imaginative stories with
the great Sandra Agard.

Sandra has written some amazing books over a 40-year career, and she shared some of
these with the children. Her engaging and funny attitude kept the children’s attention,
and many of them wanted to help act out the stories.

We spoke about inspirational people from ethnic minority backgrounds, and Sandra
explained that they could achieve anything if they put their mind to it.
